Join us for a fun day of yoga, meditation, barre and pilates taster sessions. On Saturday 15th June, Leo Yoga will open it's doors for a day of relaxation, fun, nourishment and community. This is our way of saying thank you to our amazing members as well as inviting new faces to see what we're all about and what makes our Leo family so special.

YOGALATES

9.00 AM - WITH SAM

A dynamic class that combines yoga asanas to cultivate strength, mobility and balance, with Pilates techniques to improve posture, core strength and create a stable foundation for movement. There will be a natural flow between postures and a focus on moving in time with the breath to help enhance mind and body awareness.

The class is suitable for all-levels.

HATHA YOGA

9.45 AM - WITH DOM

A traditional Hatha Yoga class with a few gentle flows incorporated. You will be holding poses for longer than a vinyasa class and really getting to grips with the alignment in each. 


The class is suitable for all-levels.

ASHTANGA

10.30 AM - WITH SALLY

The Ashtanga series is a set sequence created by Sri K Pattatbhi Jois, one of the forefathers of modern day yoga. The sequence has a focus on breath, and connects this to movement. 

 

By practicing Ashtanga yoga regularly, you'll begin to connect with your mind and body, reaching a state of moving meditation. This practice will help you to build strength quickly and calm the mind.


The class is suitable for all-levels.

BARRE PILATES

11.15 AM - WITH KRISTINA

Join us at the Bar! The ballet barre that is!
Our beautiful yoga studio turns into a ballet studio for a fun, motivational workout inspired by yoga, pilates and traditional ballet. It's a challenging workout using strength training as well as dance.

The class is suitable for all-levels.

POWER PILATES

12.00 PM - WITH ELLY

Power Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on using both the mind and body to achieve optimum performance. The deep stabilizing muscles of the body are conditioned and strengthened using sequences of movements that use gravity, body weight and other equipment as forms of resistance. The connection between the mind and body is crucial to Pilates. Pilates trains the mind to maintain a constant level of awareness of the way the body moves. This results in a greater control of motion and vastly improved technique.

The class is suitable for all-levels.

DYNAMIC VINYASA YOGA

12.45 PM - WITH MADDY

An energising, fast flowing power yoga class with lots of fun and challenging poses thrown in. Think chaturangas, arm balances, inversions and more! You'll practice a vinyasa flow sequence (movement with the breath) to build heat and cultivate energy in the body.

 

This practice is great for anyone with a little previous yoga experience to those who are more advanced. So expect to break a sweat!
